The Delaware Valley Association of Neonatal Nurses (DVANN) is a Chapter of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. We are a non-profit chapter serving neonatal nurses in Southern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. DVANN is comprised of over 300 members from various Delaware Valley institutions and professional backgrounds, including staff nurses, nurse managers, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and nurse educators. DVANN provides a forum for continuing education, supports nursing research and evidence-based practice, and promotes awareness of legislative issues impacting neonatal nursing practice and family health. DVANN offers opportunities to network with other neonatal nurses as well as facilitating community services with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities and the March of Dimes.

DVANN supports neonatal nursing through:

Practice

DVANN promotes the highest standards of evidence-based neonatal nursing practice and education.

Development

DVANN enhances professional development in neonatal nursing through on-going education of members.

Support

DVANN supports NICU families and its surrounding communities.

Goals

As an organization, DVANN strives to establish a communication network among neonatal nurses, to provide a forum for continuing education, to facilitate community service, and to support nursing research.
